Electronic Benefit Receipts
The E-stamp program was developed in the late 1990s to make
the best use of the time and resources of both the Employers
and the Fund Office. Along with their payroll check each week,
members receive a customized electronic benefit receipt outlining
the number of hours worked, project location, benefit program(s),
and pay period ending date. The present E-stamp program represents
the second generation of the stamp program, which was negotiated
into the Boston collective bargaining agreement in 1988.
The next generation of E-stamps, known as Point.Click.Remit., was introduced in May 2010 and replaces both the previous stamp program and all non-stamp remittance programs. Point.Click.Remit. is a web-based streamlined reporting system that will allow all Employers to submit and review benefit contributions for their Employees directly from their own personalized web page.
