We make it easy to save for that great vacation you deserve. Participants in the North Atlantic States Carpenters Vacation Fund are eligible to receive a check from the Vacation Plan to help pay for some much needed time off.
ELIGIBILITY & PARTICIPATION
New England
A portion of employee wages are withheld hourly from their net pay and distributed in the form of a vacation payout annually on December 1st. Interest or Fees may apply annually. Vacation contributions accrue for hours worked after September 30, of any given year that are received prior to October 31 of the current year. For example, vacation contributions for hours worked between October 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023, paid by October 31, 2023, will be included in the December 1, 2023 check, If they are paid after October 31, 2023, then they will not be distributed until December 1, 2024.
Current Vacation Fund Contributions:
Metro Boston Carpenters contribution is $1.60 per hour
Eastern Massachusetts Carpenters Contribution is $0.72 per hour
Woodframe Local 723 contribution is $0.43 or $0.57 per hour
Northern New England Carpenters contribution is $0.25 per hour
Floor Coverers Local 2168 contribution is $1.73 per hour
Millwrights contribution is $2.00 per hour
Piledrivers contribution is $2.00 per hour
Rhode Island contribution is $0.72 per hour
Connecticut contribution is $1.14 per hour
All Vacation Fund participants have the option of diverting a maximum of .05 cents an hour to any one of the three political action (PAC) funds. An authorization card must be filled out and submitted to the Fund office prior to participation in any of the PAC funds.

These benefits are available to Participants if they are provided for in the applicable collective bargaining agreement with the Union. Your Employer is required to make contributions to the Fund for vacation benefits only if such contributions are required by the terms of their collective bargaining agreement with the Union or other written agreement between the Employer and the Fund. All such contributions are made on a post-tax basis and are deducted from your wages. You will be credited with all required vacation contributions received by the Fund on your behalf. You will not receive vacation benefits for any contributions made on the basis of your self-employment.

Putnam, Rockland & Westchester County is $4.00 per hour
Columbia, Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan & Ulster County is $2.50 per hour
Allegany (3), Cattaraugus (1) & Chautauqua County is $1.00 per hour
Livingston, Monroe, Ontario & Wayne County is $1.00 per hour
Broome & Tioga County is $1.00 per hour
Cayuga, Seneca & Yates County is $1.00 per hour
Chemung, Cortland, Schuyler, Steuben & Tompkins County is $1.00 per hour
Chenango, Delaware & Otsego County is $1.00 per hour
Erie & Grand Island County is $1.00 per hour
Genesee, Niagara, Orleans & Wyoming (2) County is $1.00 per hour
Albany, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady & Schoharie County is $1.30 per hour
